Jeremiah 31:3, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindess.”

Life is full of so much activity. If you look out on the street you will see busy people on their way….somewhere. Everyone has somewhere they have to go, a place they need to be. Look at people’s faces and you will see that each person has something on his or her mind. What are people thinking? It could be trivial, or it could be something more deep or emotional.
But life moves on….this crazy hectic life that we all live. There are some people who feel the tug of God on their hearts. That gentle nudge that says, “Pay attention”. A quiet whisper that says, “Follow Me”. How many times have you ignored that nudge or whisper?

No matter how much people run from God, they can’t escape His love. His love is deep and wide and stronger than any other love you or I have ever experienced.

Psalm 139:7-10 says:

Where can I go from Thy Spirit? Or where can I flee from Thy presence?
If I ascend to heaven, Thou art there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold Thou art there. If I take the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, even there Thy hand will lead me, and Thy right hand will lay hold of me.

Running from God is impossible. He knows where you are every second and He knows the thoughts of your heart. He is chasing after you to claim you as His own dear child. He wants you to give your life to Him; He wants you to place your trust in Him, to love Him and to believe in Him.

Jeremiah 23:24 says, “Can a man hide himself in hiding places so I do not see him? Declares the Lord. Do I not fill the heavens and the earth? Declares the Lord.

Do you feel drawn? If you do, maybe it is time to stop and think for a moment.
Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still and know that I am God”. People and things are tugging at you, wanting your attention, but stop and think about what’s most important. Nothing is more important than a right relationship with God.
