Changed–Phil Joel

26 June 2009 No Comment

I love to listen to Christian testimonies, and hear how God has completely changed the life of someone who was once walking in darkness, but now walks in light. When someone places their faith in Jesus Christ and repents of sin, God does amazing things in that person’s life. It is a work in progress, but you can immediately see that the person has a new desire to love God and live for Him.

When Christ saves someone, He changes that person from the inside out. The bible says that God transforms the heart, giving the new Christian new desires. God’s love is now the controlling factor in a Christian’s life and the Christian no longer lives for himself, but for Christ.

2 Corinthians 5

verse 14 “For the love of Christ controls us….”

verse 15 “and He died for all, that they who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf”

verse 17 “Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things have passed away; behold new things have come”

I love this song by Phil Joel because it shows how a Christian is truly changed.
