1. God lifts us out of dire circumstances and gives us a reason to praise Him
Psalm 40:1-3
1 I waited patiently for the LORD;
he turned to me and heard my cry.

2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.

3 He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear
and put their trust in the LORD.

2. God’s unfailing love for us will not be shaken
Isaiah 54:10
Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,”
says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

3. No matter how bad things seem right now, we have an amazing future in heaven waiting for us.
Romans 8:18
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

4. Nothing can separate us from the love of God.
Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

5. God is close to the broken hearted
Psalm 34:18
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

The words written in here are inspoiraional. Hope those who reads this would also use it to heal their troubled hearts. Unfortunately, many just keeps in their shoulder the pain that they carry, instead of making changes.
