What if you can’t read? What about the half of the world that is illiterate? What are your thoughts on audio Bible listening?
Thanks.
Paolo
Good question Paolo. That’s why it’s important for Christians to share the gospel with those who don’t know Jesus. As Romans says:
Romans 10:13-15
13for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.”
14How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?
15How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!”
As for listening to an audio bible, I am all for it. I have two audio bibles and they are wonderful tools to learning more about what the bible says. If someone is illiterate having an audio bible in his/her language would be ideal.
