I’d like to share a free bible memory software program that I stumbled upon that offers several different tools to assist you with memorizing bible verses. It’s called the Scripture Memory System. It comes with bible verse suggestions or you can add your own verses to memorize.

International Christian Resources offers free bible mp3 downloads in English and a span of other languages.

Romans 8 is one of my favorite chapters. It covers so many things that are vital to understanding the Christian life. It discusses freedom from sin and condemnation, setting the mind on the Spirit, suffering, weakness, being called to God’s overall purpose, justification, and God’s immense love for us. What is a prophesy? A prophesy is a declaration that something will happen in the future, before it happens. The Old Testament is full of prophesies, especially foretelling of a coming Messiah. Messiah means “anointed” or “anointed one”. The Greek equivalent is Khristos or Christ. The Jews were waiting for a coming Messiah, a deliverer, an anointed one to save them. Many Jews hoped in a future Messiah to help them when Rome took Israel captive. Those that knew their Old Testament scripture knew that there would be signs.

What do you do when you encounter difficult times? How do you deal with it? The best way to deal with sadness and a broken heart is to immerse yourself in the bible.

The message in the bible from the beginning in Genesis to the end in Revelation shows the heart of man, the character of God, and man’s need for salvation. Jesus Christ, the Messiah, is at the heart of the gospels and the bible clearly says that Jesus is the only way to the Father.
