I watched this video of Paul Washer preaching about having a passion for God, and I found myself thinking that anyone who doesn’t know God must think this is pretty extreme.

“As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the LORD is flawless.
He is a shield
for all who take refuge in him.

What does God know about you? The obvious answer is EVERYTHING. But when you stop and really consider what God knows, you may find that it is quite comforting in the sense that He is intimately acquainted with everything you do and His love for you is more than you can even comprehend. On the other side, it is convicting that God knows everything. He knows the wrong intentions of our heart, the impatient words we uttered to a friend or family member, and the secret sins that no one else knows about. Read what the bible has to say.

In browsing different forums and discussion boards I’ve noticed that a lot of people are VERY angry with God. And while each person may be angry for different reasons, I can’t help but think that their anger is pointless. By pointless I mean that the anger will not accomplish anything. The bottom line is that God can do whatever He wants.

It’s hard not to see God when we look around at the world and see evidence of His creation. The vastness of the universe, the majesty of the mountains, and the fierceness of the seas, all show God’s hand at work.
